Wondering if anyone else with this disorder is experiencing PVC's. This is connected to the Sympathetic Nervous system so may be related.

That’s fantastic since it can be a very scary feeling. Cardiologist said the same thing to me, it was a huge relief.

Prior to starting adderall, I was very short of breath and would feel my heart skip a beat and then double beat. The cardiologist I saw said that my heart was healthy. there was something obviously wrong, but it wasn't my heart. I thought I was short of breath because I had never been that heavy. Since stopping Lasix and starting correct treatment, I am not SOB, don't have the skipped beats and my bood pressure is now great.

Seems isolated to episodes...Once in a long while I’ll have a flutter but no SOB.

I have to laugh when my husband says "maybe you are just out of shape a bit." LOL I say I walked 3 miles last week so I don't think I got out of shape that quickly! The Shortness of Breath is scary if you don't realize that it can be part of the disorder. Of course, if you experience significant SOB or feel a flutter in your chest you can check your pulse (or use a stethoscope if you have one), and notice what sounds or feels like a skipped beat. Go get it checked out as it is better to be safe than sorry. I had a non-life threatening Atrial Fibrillation and had the procedure to stop the erratic beat as I could not function the way I wanted to in my life. It is good to know that SOB can be part of the disorder or an irregular heart beat, especially when we have a lot of edema. Dr. Check told me the edema could be around the heart.

Absolutely, especially as the swelling increases so do the instances of beat irregularities. I’ll addionally have trouble breathing nothing radical yet it feels labored .
