I hope you are all doing well. I am out of remission. The last time was this past November, so it is an improvement over last year where I was out of remission in summer and fall. Today so tired after a good night sleep. It almost feels like Chronic Fatigue. I am able to still go and get things done, but at my own pace. I needed to space out my medication as one day it made me so anxious. I ate took medication then waited for a few hours to take more. That was better for sure. Since they finally realized they were not adjusting the right area for my herniated discs, I am not in pain like before (which was debilitating). Does anyone go out of remission on a regular pattern or season? I will be seeing Dr. Check at the months end. Any questions for Dr. Check let me know. Best of health to you all.
For myself, I always had these horrible hormonal issues as well. I did go for the Hysterectomy (most doctors didn't want to touch me), finally Dr. Check referred me to a Gyn in his office. She spent most of the day with my husband and I doing tests and speaking with us. She felt I had endometriosis and she was right. I had a hysterectomy and went through menopause (not easy initially) but it did seem to even me out after a few months. I am older than you and my concern for you would be about losing muscle mass. The problem with menstruation and the disorder is that there already is congestion in that area and on top of it we add the fluid and its problems. I still feel hormonal shifts in my body and it could be the chemicals that are in our cells are spilling out into our blood stream. If the medication is not getting rid of enough fluid I would contact Dr. Check to discuss. After taking the medication daily for a period of time, I did straighten out and my being out of remission was not as bad. I too had crazy periods, late for weeks and just erratic so that I can understand. I was on birth control just to force my body into making me menstruate so I didn't suffer for a month instead of a week before. Dr. Check just told me he has a patient on as little as 2mg a day and as high as 150mg so they could get the same results. Only you can tell if it is not working as well as it should. I was in closer contact with Dr. Check in the beginning and now know what I have to do and take to get the needed results. Speak with him if you are unsure and explain what is happening so he can advise you better.
