So sorry I have been away for so long. It has been a very difficult summer. I had a neck fusion but now the disc above it, C4 is herniated and pressing on nerve near spinal cord. Nerve pain is not alleviated by drugs. I have been kept going with anti-inflammatory meds and chiropractic. Had nerves ablated around that area with small results. Having surgery August 30th. I can't have fluid sitting on top of this problem or I will lose my mind with the pain. My blood pressure has always been normal (120/80). This past Friday I went for cortisone injections into my trapezius muscles to keep the pain at bay until the surgery. The nurse actioner took it, and it was dangerously high at (162/110). PCP couldn't see me for a week so to the ER and there 4 hours. Every test done and of course I am very healthy with no cause for this. On low dose BP med so returning to normal. I don't want anything to interfere with my upcoming surgery! So that is my story and why I have been missing in action. That car accident in the mid 1980's has really done a number on me. With the disorder, it is the perfect storm. Well, hopefully to be doing better in the near future. Let me know how you all are doing and if you are able to get the medication and how it is helping. Be well.
