I built myself up with good diet, fresh vegetables and fruit and was able to finally get past this. I haven't had an episode in decades. Interesting that it is associated with disorder. Again, not everyone is going to get chronic fatigue.

Abstract
PURPOSE:
To show that chronic fatigue syndrome can be mistakenly attributed to Lyme disease rather than considering sympathetic neural hyperalgesia edema syndrome. This common disorder of women, frequently, but not always causing pelvic pain, can present simply as chronic fatigue.
METHODS:
A water load test was performed in a woman reactive for B-Burgdorferi with chronic fatigue whose symptoms did not improve despite three months of treatment with doxycycline. A water load test was performed.
RESULTS:
She failed the water load test by excreting only 50% ingested load standing for four hours. She showed marked improvement following treatment with dextroamphetamine sulfate.
I also experienced Chronic Fatigue Syndrome years ago. With an excellent diet, which you had done yourself, I was able to get past this as well. I still have to be careful never to get so run down and eat a heathy balanced diet. I will post some of his newer articles and you can check on this site for more of his articles as well. Not everyone will experience all of the symptoms and some will be more exaggerated that others. I suffer with gastroparesis more than anything else but may have shortness of breath with the fluid, or itching, or joint pain at any given time when out of remission. The medication has been the most helpful when symptomatic in being able to function in decreasing the fluid and increasing peristalsis so my GI system doesn't become too sluggish causing nausea, constipation. Some individuals don't have the fluid but have some of the other symptoms associated with this disorder. I look forward to the weather stabilizing so I can go back into remission.
I definitely experience pelvic pain for years. I just ignored it away and dealt with it the best I could. After taking the meds for several weeks it went away for the most part. When I have rapid overnight weight gain that pain will start up once I begin increasing the dosage soon after along with the water the pain goes away too. That relief has been one of the best results of taking the medicine.
